HCBS Conference Call for Sessions

August 18 - 22, 2024

The Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Conference, hosted by ADvancing States, is the premier national conference that annually brings together state, federal, and local policymakers as well as leaders who administer, manage, and deliver waiver and other HCBS programs. The purpose of the HCBS Conference is to share practices and policies that improve state systems delivering long-term services and supports (LTSS) for all ages and abilities.

ADvancing States is currently accepting proposals for the 2024 HCBS Conference. The HCBS Conference will be held in-person August 18-22 2024, at the Baltimore Waterfront Marriott and held virtually September 11th - 12th, 2024.

All sessions will be one hour in length, with a portion of this time held for Q&A. All accepted presentations will be required to pre-record their sessions with ADvancing States staff prior to the conference. These recordings will be made available to conference attendees during our virtual conference. The date and time of all virtual sessions will be communicated with speakers prior to the in-person conference. Participating in the virtual session will provide speakers with an opportunity to answer questions and engage with attendees.

Please note that accepted speakers will be required to register and pay the attendance fee to participate in the conference.

The deadline to submit a proposal for the 2024 HCBS Conference is Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Please go to the Frequently Asked Questions tab for some helpful tips on submitting your proposal. If you are interested in receiving feedback from ADvancing states on your session before you submit it, email Conor Callahan at ccallahan@advancingstates.org.

Please contact inform@hcbsconference.org with any questions about the conference.
